Airy Silk Poncho Top in Mulberry Silk.

A hand knitted poncho in pure mulberry silk, worked stitch by stitch over a full month. The lace is airy and sheer, with a soft shift of colour from lime green to warm cream, cool against the skin and light as breath.

One piece, many ways to wear it. Loose over the shoulders as a poncho. Belted at the waist with the matching silk cord for a softer, dress-like line. Turned to the front, it falls into a gentle V-neck with a green stripe and a fine chevron running down the centre.

Pure mulberry silk, hand knitted in the Netherlands. Never cut, never repeated: this silk is gone and this piece will not exist again. A quiet luxury for slow living, garden afternoons and warm evenings.

Care: Hand wash cold with a silk detergent, only when needed. Silk is naturally self-cleaning, so airing it out for a few hours in the shade is often enough. Do not wring; lay it flat on a towel and press gently to remove excess water. Reshape and dry flat, away from direct heat and sunlight. Do not steam, as heat can flatten the delicate lace stitches.
