Some knits are made for the shop. This one was made for me.
This blush pink sweater is my first ever round yoke — knitted using intuitive mosaic technique. Three colours, two needles and hours of work.

The technique is not simple — each colour section is knitted with a triple strand of that colour, while the other two yarns are worked as single strands. You change colours intuitively, as you feel it. Gradually you increase the stitches, growing the yoke — and a unique pattern emerges all by itself.
I chose three yarns: hemp, Pima cotton and linen with silk — all in the softest spring shades. And when the sweater was finished, I put it on immediately and went outside. Because some things should not be saved for later.

This sweater will never be in the shop. It lives in my wardrobe, goes on spring walks, and reminds me why I started knitting in the first place — for the pure joy of making something beautiful with my own hands.
